A. Yes, however the work may only be published in one of the magazines.

Q. If I still have room, can I add another piece of writing as long as the length is under the guideline’s limit?

A. No

Q. If the format of my piece affects its meaning, as in the piece relies on certain stylistic choices, is it o.k to submit it?

A. Specific cases will have to be looked over by the editorial staff separately. Please email your concern to us directly.

Q. Can I submit to Coffee Spoons even if I am not in the creative writing department?

A. Yes.

Q. How will I be notified if my work was chosen?

A. By email.

Q. Is Sima really as gorgeous and smart and talented as the rumors say?

A. Yes, but flattery will get you nowhere.

Q. Can I resubmit the same piece to Coffee Spoons for the new issue?

A. Yes, you can submit an edited version of the piece, but we would rather you not send us the same work more than once.

Q. What kind of writing are you looking for?

A. We are open to all kinds of writing in all genres. The writing must be original and coherent.

Q. What do I receive if I am published?

A. You receive bragging rights that your writing was published.

Q. What are your copy right policies?

A. You can submit your published pieces to any other magazine that will accept it. However this does count as a publication credit.

Q. Can my poem be in another language?

A. We accept translated poems, and poetry that contains certain words or phrases in another language. However we will only publish poems predominantly written in English and that make sense.
